Well, the first of the Epic 2012 Spins for prospective members took place on Saturday the 21st of January…And took in the delights of Coillte’s MTB track in Ticknock

Run by “Harri”, these Spins are posted up on the Epic Forum.

Now despite these being classed as “beginner spins” they are actually for Keen mountain bikers who want to be part of EPIC and who are willing to put the time in to be good club members.

Anyone who comes on these spins must be fairly self sufficient. As part of your kit you will need, a pump, spare tube(s), multi-tool, chain links, water bottle/camelbak, as well as some food, fig rolls being a favourite!

As our very own Corkman “Harri” says: “you need a working bike, spirit of adventure, a giddy-disposition”
