Wolfpack/Junior Kids spins…

Attention all Parents!

Parents and there kids are invited to join our “Wolfpack leader” Mark for a weekly kids spin for ages 5yrs and up..

Each Sunday the Wolfpack will meet in either Ballinastoe trail centre or Djouce woods..

It is an essential requirement that your Kids have a helmet, gloves, a drink and be must be accompanied by at least one parent on a bike, as we ride the bottom trail in Balinastoe, unless you want to run beside us.

The spin will last approximately an hour and a half.

An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny Presents

The Members of Epic MTB ran “The Blast” on Sun 11th Sept 2011, this event was Ireland’s premier yearly mountain biking event.. Who would have thought that Ireland’s premier, An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, would present the award for “Best MTB Event 2011″      

An Taoiseach also presented EPIC with the award for “Outstanding Contribution to Irish Mountainbiking”

Seen pictured to accept the awards on behalf of the club  are  the President of Epic, Mr. Richie Byrne, and the club’s Chairman Alfie Wallace.

Now it is important to note this award was voted by the Irish Mountainbike Community and The Offroad Commission of Cycling Ireland.

Sprockids in Ballinastoe!

The first Sprockids Spin of the year is being run on Sunday the 12th of February at 3pm in Ballinastoe MTB trail.

This is for kids of ages 4 to 12yrs. All are welcome!

This is excellent preparation for the 1st round of the Biking Blitz which takes place the following Sunday.

So parents, bring your kids and please attend..
